Česká spořitelna was established in 1825 as the first savings-bank institution in the Czech Republic (Spořitelna Česká = Böhmische Sparkasse). Today, Česká spořitelna has the network of 670 branches and operates with 1,312 ATMs (whereof 52 for the visually impaired), 20 deposit ATMs and 50 transactional terminals. With its 12 financial subsidiaries, the bank is covering the entire spectrum of financial services and client needs. The network includes also 26 Mortgage Centres, 15 Commercial Centres for SME clients, 8 Developer Centres and 7 Regional Centres for Erste Private Banking clients.
