RLB Tirol is a regional credit institution and a universal bank that operates exclusively in Austria and predominantly in Tyrol. In addition, the bank is the regional central institution of the 42 independent, locally operating Tyrolean Raiffeisen banks and is also majority-owned by them. With total assets of EUR 10.7bn (HY23), RLB Tirol is one of the smaller of the eight regional Raiffeisen banks in Austria.

RLB Tirol is committed to the international and national sustainability goals and thus also to the Sustainable Development Goals and has been publishing a sustainability report in accordance with the GRI guidelines since 2021.

At EUR 18.2mn, net profit in 1H23 was significantly higher than in the first half of the previous year of EUR 4.0mn. The increase in earnings is due to the increase in net interest income. The 2023 result of RLB Tirol is expected to be significantly higher than the previous year, both from business development and from participation income.

Moody's assigns RLB Tirol an 'A2' rating with a stable outlook. The mortgage covered bonds have an 'Aaa' rating from Moody's and make up the majority of the outstanding bonds.
