NBS met our, and Bloomberg consensus expectations, keeping its key rate unchanged at 5.75% at its March meeting.
NBS has kept the key rate steady at 5.75% for half a year now. We still expect the NBS to ease its policy stance by year-end albeit we see rising risks for less cuts than previously envisaged.
