Consumption maintaining positive trends
Retail trade maintained positive footprint as headline figure growth remained strong at 4.9% y/y in April, thus showing acceleration compared to March figure and also reflecting effect of the later Easter holidays. On a monthly level, retail trade was up 1.0%, where turnover of food products increased by 5.4%, while the turnover of non-food products (except for automotive fuels and lubricants) increased 1.5%. Looking ahead, strong labor market trends, resilient consumer sentiment and vivid consumer credit should continue to back up solid consumption profile.
