New Advisory Center branch and Start-Up Center Opening at Erste Campus
- Additional openings and modernizations planned in 2016
- Modernization and new positioning of the entire branch office network until 2019
- Opening hours offensive: 36 branch offices in Vienna already open between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm.
An open architecture, digital information displays and the welcoming George Cafe in the immediate vicinity – at the new Erste Campus on the site of the Quartier Belvedere: After the successful start of the new branch office concept with the opening of the Floridsdorf advisory center and 12 service branch offices in highly frequented locations, the second large advisory center is now opening directly at the new Erste Bank headquarters at Vienna's Central Railway Station.

The 1,100 m2 advisory center has been conceived and designed in line with the wishes of customers. “The advisory center was built around the customer in the very heart of Erste Bank, our new campus. With that the location is playing a very special role”, says Thomas Schaufler, chief retail officer of Erste Bank.
The team of 30 Erste Bank advisors at the center places personal contact with customers at the heart of its services – depending on requirements either in an informal or a discreet setting. “For providing personal advice on financing needs or complex investment strategies, we see our branch offices not only as indispensable - they are a core element of our business strategy” Schaufler continues. Opening hours are from Monday to Friday between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm. In addition, the team of Erste Bank is complemented by specialists from s Bausparkasse (building society), s Leasing, s Versicherung (insurance), s Real (real estate) and s Wohnfinanz (home mortgages), all of which are available on site as well.
The Start-Up Center – as of now at Erste Campus
Erste Bank is the primary contact point for company founders and demonstrates this with an innovatively designed competence center - the Start-Up Center (Gruender Center), a meeting place for young entrepreneurs. Nine experts are providing advice on starting new businesses from Monday to Friday between 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
An overview of the Start-Up Center's services:
- provides advice on the business concepts of founders
- individual consultations with respect to which financing solutions are most suitable for customers and which subsidies can be applied for
- makes a network of professionals available – e.g. attorneys, tax consultants, investors, etc.
- accompanies founders in the start-up period
The future branch office network of Erste Bank: advisory centers and service branch offices
The new branch office network will take shape until 2019. In Vienna, Lower Austria, and Burgenland large advisory centers will be erected in regional centers. Up to 50 experts will be working at each location and provide advice on the bank's entire suite of products to both retail and corporate customers on site.
