As of 1 June 2021, Maximilian Clary und Aldringen (39) will take over as Head of Private Banking at Erste Bank in Austria and CEE. Max Clary and his team will strategically focus on new customer needs, especially in the area of sustainability and digitalization, and strengthen the focus on entrepreneurial clients in private banking. "With Max Clary, we have a well-connected strategist and capital market expert on board who will set new priorities in the consolidating private banking market. He will further expand our strong position with top-quality consulting and innovative solutions," says Thomas Schaufler, delighted with the new appointment.

Roland Jacubetz, who previously headed Private Banking, will head the newly created Wealth Management and Corporates Department and act as Clary's deputy. Max Clary is married and has 2 children.
