Erste wins best private bank awards from Euromoney for Austria, Slovakia, and Romania
- Erste Private Banking honored as “Best Domestic Private Bank” in Austria
- Additional awards in Slovakia and Romania as “Best International Private Bank”
Erste Private Banking has been awarded three “best bank” distinctions from Euromoney in the financial industry publication’s inaugural Global Private Banking Awards. In addition to Best Domestic Private Bank in Austria, Erste Private Banking has also been recognized by Euromoney as being the Best International Private Bank in both the Slovak and Romanian markets.
“Even though the last year was especially challenging for capital markets, we have managed to grow our business by further improving our services and through innovative approaches such as ESG investing, Private Markets, and digital convenience,” explains Maximilian Clary und Aldringen, Head of Private Banking and Wealth Management. “Our dedication to personalized advice and discretionary portfolio management has kept us on the right track, one that promises long-term success. In addition to the newest “Best Domestic Private Bank” award from Euromoney, Erste Private Banking in Austria has won a broad range of distinctions for its private banking services, including most recently in the Global Private Banking Awards presented by PWM/The Banker.
Slovakia: “Best International Private Bank”
Romania: “Best International Private Bank”
Erste Private Banking has been offered by Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR), Erste Group’s local subsidiary, since 2010. Erste Private Banking covers all regions across Romania, with a strong presence in Bucharest and also in five other leading cities: Cluj, Timisoara, Brasov, Iasi and Constanta. Erste Private Banking Romania provides its services and products to around 3,000 UHNW and HNW clients, with total assets under management of around 1.9 billion euros.
Euromoney’s 2023 Global Private Banking Awards
The esteemed industry publication Euromoney launched its Global Private Banking Awards this year, building on the two decades of experience it has gathered through its annual Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey. An in-house panel at the publication chose the country-level winners among the participating private banks and asset managers based on their successes with regard to products and propositions, innovation and technology, as well as in client service and delivery.
