Erste Bank: “You’re the king” #believeinyourself campaign awarded the Austrian State Prize for best promotional video
Economic Affairs Minister Margarete Schramböck awards the 2018 State Advertising Prize for best promotional video to Erste Bank und Sparkassen
The Austrian Federal Ministry of Digital and Economic Affairs this year once again awarded the State Prize in Advertising as part of an official ceremony at Studio 44. An independent panel of judges selected the best, most creative and most innovative advertising work in Austria from the approximately 130 entries. Erste Bank came out on top in the “Best promotional video” category for its “You’re the king” #believeinyourself campaign, created by the Jung von Matt agency. The expert judges justified their decision by citing the video’s perfect staging from a technical and narrative perspective, allowing it to optimally communicate the “believeinyourself” positioning as a self-contained entity.
Thomas Schaufler, board member at Erste Bank: “We’re delighted to have won an award for the “You’re the king” campaign, and were able to get across exactly what we were hoping to convey. There are millions of #believeinyourself stories. We all know of them – and we want to tell them. Our country needs people who believe in themselves. It’s our attitude in a nutshell, and thus reflects the almost 200-year-old DNA of Erste Bank und Sparkassen.”
